The Dardanelles

dardanelles

Traditional/Crossover
Armed with a love of jigs, reels and ballads, and an energy found more often in 3 piece punk rock bands than 5 piece folk acts, The Dardanelles have established themselves as the leading traditional band to emerge from Canada’s Newfoundland. Their reverence for traditional music, as well as their unashamedly progressive approach, has made for a live show which has taken national and international festivals by storm, including in the USA, Australia, and here in Scotland, regularly selling out!
